I was sitting on my porch tonight with the field stretching out in front of me. In the daylight that plot of land appears deserted except for the occasional bird. But when the sun goes down it’s like the whole field comes to life. Nightbirds, crickets, and frogs make all the noise while deer, raccoon, and even the occasional skunk wonder through the field.

That is what it is all about. To be able to sit in an atmosphere like the one above lightens the heart. Its like the fetal position for the soul. That is where it is most relaxed. I think it even appeals to primal instincts. I mean, if you really think about it, the things that make all the noise and pollution haven’t been here very long, as compared to human evolution.

See how I done that? In two sentences I put the pedal to the metal and drove this post right off the deep end… :)
