A Little Bit Of Everything

Being on the road a lot has a drawback. I’m losing my ties to the blogging community. I feel I have made some great friends since starting this blog. Some would say that it’s no big deal, it’s just the internet. To that I would say, a friend is a friend. This I know, being a part of the blogging community requires participation, visibility and a post a little more frequent than every couple weeks. For the time being I am unable to prevent this downhill slide. This blog really represents my pattern of living only on a smaller scale. Just keep checking, eventually I’ll turn up. Anyway, don’t really know where I was going with that… I just hate that I don’t get to participate as much as required.

To the outdoor blogging community… this blog has always been outdoor themed since it’s original beginning. However, for the most part, this bear hibernates in the winter. I still like to hike but seeing as how myself + cold = miserable, my hikes tend to be few and far between. This year will be especially bad because of the accident. I have already found out that the hand is quite uncomfortable and literally painful when it is cold. For the winter this blog will have to get by on wit and wisdom of which I have little of both. I hope you stick with me though because ‘08 is going to prove very interesting for this outdoor blogger. The AT hike is still a go and getting closer. I’ve about decided to visit New Orleans for awhile after the hike. It just wouldn’t be feasible to do it before then. I will get back to blogging about the outdoors because the outdoors is my passion.
