The BackWoods Drifter is leaving the realm of localized blogging. 2008 promises to be a big year of travel for this drifter. For the longest time I have needed a place to display photos that don’t have anything to do with West Virginia or nature for that matter. I already own the photoblog located at boltmountain.com but if you visit there you will see it has been a while since the last post. I haven’t stopped taking photos, they are just not from Bolt Mountain.
Introducing… OpticalAdventure.com. Going to that address now will bring you to a dead end. I bought this domain for two main reasons. My photos can be more diverse and that is where I’ll tell about my AT Hike this year as well as post slideshows from the hike. I hope to have at least a home page up and running by the 1st.
I don’t intend to abandon this blog because it is home. Home is where roots run deep.
