This post is just to remind readers about the poll and to say that there is just about 24 hours left before I reveal the results. If you haven’t voted I implore you to do so. If you don’t know what Mountaintop Removal is about, don’t be afraid to say so. The poll is anonymous after all. There has been fairly good participation so far but not quite the numbers I would like to see. I’ll reveal the seven day percentages but may keep the poll open for another week. We will see how it goes.

I have to say I didn’t know much about mountaintop removal before reading your posts. We don’t, after all, have a lot of mountains in Michigan. After I read what you wrote and learned what it was all about, I now know I’m against this practice. It sounds to me like it does way too much damage.

That is what bothers me so much… tears the mountains all to pieces. The coal is going to be gone and we won’t even have the mountains left to enjoy. It’s a shame and I really don’t think the public would like it if they knew what was going on. Thanks for your support on this.
I’m actually a little surprised and maybe a little disappointed that there is so little involvement. I’m glad I spoke up and I will continue to do so.
