Drews Creek Ramp Dinner
The Drews Creek ramp dinner is scheduled for April 18th from noon to 7pm.
I haven’t been out to check on ramps (wild leek) yet this year. I have this one particular hollow I go to for ramps. It is a mile or so on past the church in Drews Creek where the ramp dinner is held. The hollow itself is pretty rugged terrain and just down from a hollow called Wolf’s Den. The only access is by foot although you can park a vehicle/ATV close to the hollow.
The good thing about going there, once you get past the initial steep climb, about 100 yards, it is nothing but ramps and you could literally harvest them all day long.
At any rate, I’m supplying a map with this years ramp post. This is between Racine to the west and Glen Daniels to the east on route 3. To get to this little area – use your TomTom. The zipcode for Naoma is 25140.

I love ramps and pinto beans. I wish I could attend but unfortunatly not this year.
Will you be attending this feast Denny?
We’ll have to check out that ramp patch on the next annual atv run.
Hey buddy – been away for a bit. To answer your question though. Most likely not. I have plenty of ramp dinners during ramp season.
