Mountain Inspiration…
…is what this blog needed.
I took the ATV out again yesterday. It was another one of those lower 70 type days, mostly sunny, just a great day to be out and about period.
I had planned on a nice 2 or 3 hour ride but I was gone for about 5 hours and I only rode for about an hour of that. I went to an area I like to call the 100 Acre Wood.

The trees lining the trail here are oak and a couple of them are easily over 100 years old. Imagine the storms they have weathered.
I rode up to this area yesterday and just sat there. I’ve always been able to do my best thinking in the quiet of the mountains. It is especially relaxing for me if I don’t really have anything pressing to think about. I can just sit there listening to the sounds of the mountains. You would probably be surprised how fast the hours go by and how much better you feel when you get home. For myself – I love it and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m aching for my first camping trip of the year and I hope to make that a multi-night thing. I’m sure you will hear about it.

Wow, beautiful pictures and beautiful blog. I’m on the east coast and miss the mountains!
Thank You!
I always miss the mountains when I am away. They call to me – no matter the distance.
