As strange as the weather has been.
This blog is a prime example of why a blogger should never apologize for not posting. You just never know what can happen to prevent you from blogging. At any rate, hopefully I’m back for a bit. Without elaborating too much, this has been one hell of a month.
So far this year the weather has put a major damper on my outdoor pursuits. It seems to be next to impossible to plan a multi-day event. Hopefully this weather pattern will straighten out sometime soon. I’m not real keen on riding the ATV in the rain. Been there and done that. Besides jumping right into a pool of water, I don’t know of anything that can get you soaked faster.
At any rate, this coming weekend, 19th to the 21st, I’m going to be at Mountain Aid supporting our mountains and the Pennies of Promise initiative. This will be only the second time I have taken photos with people as the subject matter. I’m anxious to attend. I’m sure you will hear about it if not on this blog then on the Endmtr blog for sure.

This is my 3rd attempt in just a few days to publish a post. There appears to be a bug in the updated Wordpress platform that when publishing, the post just simply disappears. That is pretty frustrating.

I still have not found out with certainty what the fossils are in the previous post. However I do have a sample headed to WVU. Hopefully I will know something soon.
