My name is Denny Tyler, West Virginia is my home.
I started blogging about the outdoors in 2004 actually during a time in my life I would sometimes like to forget. If you read the short series of posts on this blog entitled A Man And His Dog you can pretty much get an idea of that particular time-frame in my life.
At any rate, I started blogging because I had something to say… I’m hoping to get around to saying it some day.
I love the hills of West Virginia. I enjoy exploring, hunting ginseng, ATV riding, hiking, camping, taking photos… any reason to go to the mountains. This blog is about pretty much all that I do in, and the little bit of knowledge I have of, the Appalachian Mountains. More specifically, southern West Virginia.
